Suejin Jo
Suejin Jo, Korean born abstract painter based in New York, studied at Columbia University and the Art Students League. She exhibited widely in and around New York and in Korea. She won McDowell competition and was a visiting artist in the Drew University New York Semester on Contemporary Art program. Her work is in many private and public collections including Chase Manhattan Bank, General Instrument Company, Embassy of San Marino, Sogang University and Korea Exchange Bank.
Suejin Jo paints in the tradition of Lyrical Abstract Expressionism both in oil and acrylic medium on canvas. Her recent paintings are aptly described by the review below:
