interprets an important range of American experiences. AAWAA provides
opportunities to increase exposure and to educate the general public
about this community's unique contributions to the arts in New
York City.

local community;
- To provide educational workshops for youth in the community;
- To furnish a central place where women artists may seek support
and information for professional growth;
